What’s good, everyone? Since almost every video game genre out there puts players in control of a character that they must somehow bond with and grow attached to in order to fully realize the gaming experience, day five’s prompt of the 30 day challenge is one that almost everyone can identify with. We’ll be talking about the game character each of us feels that we are most like… or wish we were like.
For this one, I’m taking the path of lesser resistance and talking about which character I would wish to be more like, mostly because I can’t figure out for the life of me who I actually AM most like. I know, it’s a cop-out, but this is much more interesting (and easier, since I still have 25 days of this). If I were looking for the ideal qualities of a character I would most want to be like, I’d be looking for a person who embodies great strength and powers, but also a firm sense of honor and a strict code. A warrior who values his family and clan, and can is greatly skilled, with a bit of a wrathful side but can also be principled… but where oh where could I find such a character?
Ok, ok, so Scorpion is all of those things, but has the slight disadvantage of suffering of a slight case of death. Then again, does that look like it’s stopping this guy? Nope.

Hannah’s back, back again with my contribution to today’s topic: Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were). In the first of what I assume you will be MANY Halo-themed entries related to these challenges. I am most like/want to be more like my boo thang Cortana.
From her lovely glowing skin to incorporeal assistance with all aspects of the game, Cortana is just all around the best. Honestly, if you don’t like her, please leave a comment because I’d like to know why. And I totally won’t come to your house and punch you in the face at all.
She is brave and smart, conscientious and circumspect in her decision-making – admirable qualities in any person. She is resilient and clever, so much so that I’m gonna go ahead and label her a Ravenclaw like myself. Cortana is kind and logical, the most advanced portrayal of AI in a game I’ve ever seen (at least until Detroit is released). I like her as a character, not as a plot device. She feels more human that Master Chief in a lot of ways, but honestly that’s not too hard. I love the emphasis on how Cortana affected him as a person and made a very real impact, not just as a sexy blue GPS.

Hey everyone! Megan_Highwind here for my entry into day 5 of the 30 day challenge. This day was a difficult one for me. I have absolutely no idea which character I would be most like, and have never really thought about which one I would most like to be. After much mental debate, though, I think I have settled on one particular lady who I think I would like to be most like. The video game character I wish I was most like is Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII.
Tifa Lockhart is bold, beautiful, and badass. Tifa is one of those women who does not allow other people to take advantage of her and is willing to fight for the things she believes in. She is strong, smart, beautiful, and brave. among other things. If there is any character out there who embodies qualities that I want to see in myself, Tifa is definitely that character!
-Megan_Highwind has left the party.
Hey everyone! It’s James B. Boss here, back with my day five entry for the thirty day challenge. We as gamers, have played many games and assumed many roles in our time With each set of characters, there will always be a certain one, that we would like to compare ourselves to. If you’ve ever paid attention to my name on here, I think it’s fairIy obvious which character I wish to be more like. Didn’t catch the hint? No problem, I’ll spell it out for you.
Naturally, it’s Big Boss from the Metal Gear series. I greatly admire this character because of the sole fact that he taken on so many challenges in his life and was able to overcome each one of them. He is a born leader and a fearless soldier and his army of troops highly respect him. As being a person who cares for his friends and rises to the challenge, I myself always look to Big Boss for some inspiration to help me in my times of need… though I don’t think I’m quite up to the challenge of taking on the world itself. YET.
— Boss? What happened? BOSS?!
