Hello everyone! Sorry for missing last week’s episode. I took a vacation and headed home and was crazy busy spending time doing things with the family. Now that I am back, though, I will give you my look at this week’s episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D! In this week’s episode we finally learn what happened to Agent 33 and Ward; that they are working together to get to Bakshi, who is being held captive by General Talbot. Luckily for Ward, Agent 33 has a nifty trick where she can change her face to look like other people’s so that while they are still discovered, they got much further and accomplish the goal that they likely would not have had it not been for Agent 33’s facial shifting ability.
Meanwhile, Mack and Bobbi finally let Hunter in on the secret that they have been keeping for so long and ask him to join in their crusade, much to Mack’s dismay. It seems like everyone is in doubt of Coulson’s ability to lead, aside from Hunter, that was a leader in the former S.H.I.E.L.D and they are wanting to kick him out. Even though Hunter does not agree at all with this decision, he is stuck pretty much choosing between Coulson and his love for Bobbi at this point.
Finally, Coulson and Skye go on a little trip together so that, hopefully, Coulson can get Skye to a place where she can better control her powers. They have some more bonding time about the past and their parents and it seems as though Coulson is the one who, above all, may be able to help Skye get control of the new power that she has so that she can use it without harming herself or those she cares about.
Overall, this week’s episode was, again, a little slow for me. The first episode of the season, along with this one, I know are setting up for things to come in the future. However, it kind of feels like there is a little too much filler going on at the moment and I am ready for some more action and big things to happen in future episodes!
Catch Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC at 9/8c!
